“Driftwood Contracting exists to provide and set a higher standard for construction endeavors. We believe in doing work the right way using the proper supplies, cutting corners is not an option. Kelly Lanctot and Paul Cliney co-owners of driftwood construction have known each other for the majority of their lives. Growing up together, they have had many opportunities to work on a range of projects ranging from homework, sports, painting, construction, cars, and everything in between.

After high school Kelly enlisted in the United State Marine Corps. He excelled in the marines, participating in Operation Al-Fajr (the battle of Fallujah) and was eventually honorably discharged as a highly decorated Sargent. Paul gained admissions and graduated from the university of Hawaii with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry.

Upon returning home from both life experiences they worked construction side jobs until a good friend of theirs was having their home remodeled, and the standards of that construction company’s work were not up to the high standards of Paul and Kelly. They believed that they could do a better job, so they decided to form a contracting company. Taking on a roof as their first job, and using an architectural three tab shingle (appropriately driftwood in color) Driftwood Contracting was born.

Today Paul and Kelly’s high standards for quality have led them to excel at projects ranging from exterior and interior painting, to roofing, to remodeling, construction and demolition. Their good-natured personalities, uncompromising business ethics and impeccable work have generated many happy clients and referrals.
